Course Description
Study of prehistoric and recent rock art worldwide from an anthropological and cross-cultural perspective. Provide a strong understanding of what rock art is, how it is recorded, analyzed, and interpreted by archaeologists, and why ancient symbolism and sites are considered important in contemporary society.
