Es necesario entender ambos conceptos, violencia y conflicto, de una manera mucho más amplia y profunda, como algo consustancial a la vida social de los seres humanos. Si lo entendemos así, la arqueología del conflicto deja de ser una subespecialidad que analiza una particularidad marginal o extrema de lo social y se convierte en clave para comprender cómo funciona cualquier sociedad.
It is necessary to understand both concepts, violence and conflict, in a much broader and deeper way, as something inherent to the social life of human beings. If we understand it this way, conflict archeology ceases to be a subspecialty that analyzes a marginal or extreme particularity of the social and becomes the key to understanding how any society works.
