The aim of this paper is to reflect on the ethical implications derived from the development of an archaeological research that focuses on the relations between society, heritage and the past. It particularly seeks to identify the risks and possibilities that arise when taking into account other discourses than the authorized, and stands for the social responsibilities that are to be undertaken by archaeologists.
