The Society for Applied Anthropology provides a Statement of Ethics and Professional Responsibilities, which addresses the anthropologist's responsibility to research participants, affected communities, colleagues, students and trainees, employers and sponsors, and to society as a whole.

This statement is a guide to professional behavior for the members of the Society for Applied Anthropology.
